Return of the Bunny Suicides

You don’t need to know about the first round of Bunny Suicides to appreciate (or loathe) the second book, Return of the Bunny Suicides by Andy Riley. This is a collection of drawings in which a suicidal bunny and its equally suicidal mates are drawn in ways to bring about their demise. It’s darkly humorous. Some ways of drawn suggested death are just awful…for instance, the bunny grating his own face on a cheese grater. And other ways of intended suicide are more humorous like putting pepper in Sauron’s eye.

Bunny Suicides does have a Wikipedia entry as well as its own following that has led to t-shirts, stickers, etc. There is a preview of the first book located online. Someone has also created a YouTube video, of what I believe is a compilation of all the Bunny Suicides.

If you’ve enjoyed the other books I’ve mentioned this month, then pick up Return of the Bunny Suicides at LS 741.5.R451r.
